Insurance

Dr. Stacy participates with most insurance carriers, including Aetna, Blue Cross, Medicare and Cofinity. We encourage patients to contact their insurance company to determine their chiropractic benefits and receive information regarding deductibles and co-pays. Patient should also inquire if they need a referral for chiropractic care, generally this is only the case with an HMO.

  • It is important that you bring your insurance card(s) with you for your new patient appointment.
  • For those patients without insurance coverage or without chiropractic benefits as a part of their insurance, we offer a time-of-service payment option.
  • Are you a Teacher? Traditional MESSA provides 60 massages and 38 chiropractic visits per year for each family member covered.
  • PPO MESSA provides 38 combined massage and chiropractic visits per year for each family member covered with no co-pay.
    • Massage/chiropractic visits must be same-day, same provider to count as a single visit, otherwise they will be considered 2 separate visits.
  • Some other insurances may cover massage therapy, please inquire when asking about your chiropractic benefits.

Understanding your insurance plan, know what you owe:

Deductible: If your plan has a deductible, there is a set dollar amount you must pay for covered services before your insurance company will begin to pay for your benefits.

Copayment or coinsurance: These are fixed amounts or percentages that you pay to your health care provider for covered services.
